Over the years, Mark has worked as a patent draftman, graphic illustrator for the National Academy of Sciences, and designer and producer of illustrated "coffee-table" books. Mark joys in discovering the natural world around him, and enjoys teaching others how to enjoy their natural world. As a published author, Mark produced and marketed "Discovering the C&O Canal", a resource guide for one of our nation's most beloved National Historical Parks, published in 2003. Other books written include: "Discovering National Wildlife Refuges", "Discovering National Forests", "Discovering America's Wilderness", "Discovering State Parks", "American Road Trip - Discovering Scenic Byways", and "California's Pacific Coast Highway". Since 1995 Mark has created and hosted dozens of websites and hundreds of web pages for numerous companies and individuals. His flair for producing esthetically pleasing and user-friendly web pages has brought accolades from businesses, organizations, and professionals. The delicate balance of color and MImages is apparent in all of his work. His ability to "create atmosphere" and "present continuity" in simplistic style and format underlies his creative page formats. |
